As the Venice Film Festival set the city in motion, Airelles Palladio chose to make its own entrance. On 4 September, five months after the Maison opened, four of its culinary figures came together for an eight-hand dinner conceived for the rhythm of the Mostra.
Nobu Matsuhisa, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Norbert Niederkofler and Cédric Grolet brought four distinct approaches to the same table. Japanese precision, cosmopolitan energy, an attachment to the Alpine landscape and contemporary pastry met for one evening, without asking any of the chefs to surrender the identity of his own work.
The dinner also gave visible form to the collaboration developed since Airelles Palladio opened. Behind the names was a shared effort between the Maison’s teams, required to turn four culinary languages into one coherent experience.
With its guests, movement and succession of flavours, the evening allowed Airelles Palladio to enter the Mostra in its own way. For one night, the new Venetian Maison made cinema through the table.
