Tina Kragh Vildgaard has received the Revol Best Restaurant Manager Award from Les Grandes Tables du Monde, recognising her contribution to Jordnær since its opening in 2017. Working alongside Eric Vildgaard, she has helped build a restaurant whose identity depends as much on the dining room as on the kitchen. Jordnær, a member of the association since 2023, announced the distinction by returning to the principle shared by both teams: “only the best for our guests”.
The association’s tribute describes a dining-room culture shaped by Tina Kragh Vildgaard’s attentiveness and quiet leadership. Welcoming guests, anticipating their needs and helping them feel at ease are responsibilities carried through the entire meal. Her role also involves bringing the team together around a common standard, ensuring that the precision expected of service leaves room for warmth and sincerity.
The award gives individual recognition to work that is experienced collectively. A guest encounters the restaurant through many people, yet the consistency of that welcome requires someone to establish its tone and sustain it over time. Tina Kragh Vildgaard’s distinction acknowledges that contribution to Jordnær: the daily work of making the dining room as considered as the food it serves.
