Massimo Bottura appears alongside Pierfrancesco Favino in Cambiamo Prospettiva, a film released on October 25, 2026, to mark World Pasta Day. Created for BMW Group Italia’s SpecialMente programme, it follows the actor inside Il Tortellante, the Modena workshop where autistic young people and adults learn to make fresh pasta by hand.
Launched in January 2016 within the Aut Aut Modena association, Il Tortellante combines pasta making with training designed to develop independence, teamwork and skills for employment. Bottura and Lara Gilmore have supported the project throughout its development. A shop opened opposite the workshop in 2023, bringing its production into direct contact with customers and the wider community.
In the film, Favino learns from the people working at Il Tortellante, with Bottura appearing in the closing sequence. An accompanying backstage film includes contributions from the chef, the association’s president and founder Erika Coppelli, tutors, volunteers and participants. Together, the two films introduce the daily work behind a project that connects Modena’s pasta tradition with practical opportunities for inclusion.
