Junghyun Park and Ellia Park prepare Kiji in London

Junghyun “JP” Park and Ellia Park are preparing Kiji, a Korean barbecue restaurant in London’s Mayfair. Planned at 60 Curzon Street, on the former site of Mirabelle, it will be the first UK address from the duo behind New York’s Atomix. A precise launch date has not been confirmed.

The Parks opened Atoboy in New York in 2016, followed by Atomix in 2018 and Naro in 2022. Their restaurants have given Korean cooking several distinct settings, from Atoboy’s banchan-inspired menu to Atomix’s counter dining. Ellia, co-founder and CEO of Na:eun Hospitality, oversees the group’s management, alongside JP’s work in the kitchen.

The announced layout at Kiji includes a bar, dining room, lounge and private chef’s table, with Korean barbecue at the centre of the food. Further menu and booking details are still to come. The project extends the pair’s work in Korean cuisine to London after a decade of opening and operating restaurants in New York.
